DIY Galaxy Mustache Top

Remember my post about the DIY Galaxy Shoes? So, if you think my galaxy obsessions are over, well think again!

I have 2 pieces of mustache tops I made some time ago, so for today, its all about how to "galaxify" this mustache top. Let's get started!

TOOLS/MATERIALS:

*A mustache top/shirt; or you could just make one like I did

*Blue, Violet, Pink, and White textile paint

*Glitters

* Paintbrush

*Sponge

*An old toothbrush

*An old magazine

STEP 1: Put a n old magazine inside the top to prevent soaking the paint through.

STEP 2: Start painting. Start first using the blue paint as a base coat.

STEP 3: The begin with the violet paint.

STEP 4: Add pink and white, and blend it with the blue and violet paint, for it to be more "cloudy-fluffy-looking."

STEP 5: Using an old toothbrush, dip it in the white paint, and scrape it off to add the stars. Then add glitters for it to look more shiny.

And there you have it! A galaxy-riffic mustache top!

DIY: Galaxy Shoes

Hey guys, I'm so excited because this is my first post about DIY-ing shoes! Hope you enjoy reading. :)

So I had these old plain dark blue shoes I got from my birthday last year, it was fading and looked so bad, and because I was too lazy to clean them, I just thought of a bright idea to revamp these....*TING!*.... Galaxy shoes!

Tools and Materials:

*A pair of dark-colored shoes

*Fabric/Acrylic Paint: Blue, Violet and White works best

*Painting brush

*An old toothbrush

*Sponge

*Tape

*Lots of newspapers (It gets messy!)

Step 1: Cover the soles of your shoes with tape, in case you want a cleaner look.

Step 2: Using your blue paint and sponge, dab it onto your shoes, and create a cloudy effect.

Step 3: Then add your violet paint and mix it with the blue paint you just added from before.

This is how it looks like, pretty bad, huh? But don't worry, it's not done yet ;D

Step 4: Now add a portion of white paint, and mix it with the blue and violet paint from your shoes, to create that "Milky Way" effect.

Step 5: Using your toothbrush, dab it onto the white paint and then using your finger, scratch/scrape the toothbrush with the white paint near the shoes. This will make the "stars."

Step 6: Now using your paint brush, paint some big stars, shooting or falling stars, this will make the shoes emphasize more.

And there you have it, your own handmade galaxy shoes!
